Band Set to Bid Farewell to Staccato

Keegan Corbey will be joining LD on stage at Staccato in Adams Morgan along with two other bands in the venue's final show.

"Basically, we're gonna try not to burn anything down... although they might dig the insurance money, right?" notes singer Adam Comfort.

Indeed, Staccato's run is coming to a close, but guitar player Brad Brown is committed to making the place rock one last time, "Ultimately, we'd like the show to end up with everyone taking their clothes off.  Cause I think that would be fitting.  Not, you know in some sick way, or even in like a hippie way, but like... sexy."

The show gets going at 8.  Be there, or miss your place in history.
REM Disappoints on Sesame Street, says McLaughlin.  Wants LD to Get More Airtime:

Liver Damage devotee and undeniable chick magnet Sean McLaughlin, 5, of Vienna, VA recently noted his disappointment with Alt Rock legends REM, whose recent Sesame Street performance left McLaughlin wanting more.  "They were good, I guess, but I think Liver Damage should be on there."  When asked why he thought LD could do better, he said, "Their eclectic sound and virtuosic ability would make them an excellent exemplar of musical innovation to benefit children's understanding of music.  Can we go ride bikes now?"  Sean's mother, Cristina McLaughlin agreed, "We like REM and the message they send to children, but we'd like a little more Rock in Sean's life."

There you have it Jim Henson... or whoever books your shows now that you're dead... Put LD on.  Do it for the kids.
